What Ocai is

Ocai is an assistant that works on your material and hands you something finished. You talk to it, it does the work, and it shows you what it did along the way.

It runs in two modes. Most of the time you work turn by turn. When you have a job with a clear finish, you hand over the goal and it runs to the end.

What you can do

Have a conversation. Ask a question, get an answer you can argue with. Follow up, correct it, change direction. See Assistant.

Hand over a goal. Give Ocai an outcome and walk away. It works through the steps and reports back. See Modes.

Teach it how you want it to work. Write a skill once: a tone, a format, a process you repeat. Reuse it in any chat. See Skills.

Keep work in one place. A project holds your files, your instructions, and your conversations, so context does not have to be rebuilt every time. See Projects.

Give it your material. Attach any file, paste text, drop a link, and add whole folders from a project. See Attachments.

Have it actually calculate. Questions that need real arithmetic or data work are computed in a sandbox, not guessed. See Code execution.

Create and edit images. Describe what you want, or attach an image and say what should change. See Image generation.

Look things up. Ocai searches the web when an answer depends on something current, and cites what it used. See Web access.

Choose how hard it thinks. Every model has a thinking effort from zero to max, and you raise it when a problem deserves it. See Model selector.

Run it on your own machine. The desktop app puts a sandbox on your laptop, where connected apps run with internet access from your machine. See Desktop sandbox.

Is my data safe?

Work in the cloud sandbox stays in an isolated environment with no internet access. With the desktop app, the sandbox runs on your own machine with its own kernel, and can only reach the folder you give it. See Desktop sandbox.
